Wore my vintage Omega to work today and realized my Macbook pro has small magnets that pull the latches down to close the computer. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with those small magnets magnetizing a watch. The booklet from the era (1960s) said that the watch would resist all normal magnetic fields encountered in everyday life, I was wondering if you think a laptop counts..........
Granted my watch does not rest on the magnet, and my forearm comes between the watch head and the magnet, but I just got it back from a restoration, and would hate to precipitate a problem.....
